Posted by admin as How To Make Biodiesel
www.LukasRethke.com http This system works on diesel powered vehicles only. For information on improving mileage on gas or diesel engines and converting vehicle to hybrids, go to my website and check out the blog. : www.hammerdownauto.com Also researching these keywords may help Fuel Vaporization or Atomization Hydrogen Water Powered Car Stan Meyer The video is about my WVO fuel system that I built and use to fuel one of my trucks. It shows the stainless steel settling tank, the valve, quick coupler and hoses going the the filtration part of the system. The filter consists of two PBH-420-15 Pentek PBH-420 Polypropylene Bag Filter Housing found here www.waterfilters.net Here is a link to the actual filter sock or bag this is the 25 micron one. I believe that starting with a 25 and ending with a 5 may be close to the way to go depending on the quality of the oil. High quality oil is the only way to go in the long run. The poor quality oils, there is a fair amount of waste involved and it just plugs the filters www.filtersfast.com The water separator in the middle is a Cim-Tek 800 Series Fuel Filter HYDROSORB II WATER & PARTICULATE REMOVAL found here: www.jmesales.com Here is the page of the adaptor for the filter to spin on to: www.petroparts.com I went with all 1.5 pipe inlets and outlets on all my filters and adapted down to 1. I figured that way if I ever wanted to redo to system with only one of the bigger pumps it would be easy that way. Basically I found everything …

3Thanks for the info… But how to take off the acid of the oil?

4I’m sure it’s very good but I fell asleep after 2mins. It’s no good saying, “it’s a 420 filter as it’s 4inches wide and 20inches long”. Describe what each bit does and how you refine the vegetable oil and check acidity etc. A diagram would be good. If you put that stuff in a modern diesel engined car it would destroy the pump seals and injectors…it’s too acidic, and it’s bad for modern engines. It’s fine in a 20year old non turbo Volvo, but NEVER in a new TDCi car.

6Pretty clever Luke.
You may want to make sure those blocks are strong enough to support that tank though, as you could be looking at close to a ton of weight there including the tank.

7Yes, this is funny, indeed.
Shows that the “Internet in correctional facilities” program is alive and well.
Luker’s video needs a little polishing. There was nothing in the video about BioDiesel, but thats ok. I am glad I now know how to spell his name and had time for art appreciation.
Thanks for sharing Luke.

16I’m sorry, I have no way of measuring the SVO to check the mileage, I ran it for a year, 15K?, it did fine. The mileage is less, though.
The trick is to get the oil to the proper temp. When I got the oil good and hot, I couldn’t tell a difference, but when the oil was a little cool, it didn’t run very good.
As far as the air intake and the injectors, It cost less than 1,000 (I did the work myself) Bean’s Diesel rebuilt the injectors.
Well Worth It!! A lot more power and fuel mileage.

17how many miles has your pick up been on SVO? and what is the mpgon SVO vs diesel? and did the air inflow intake and injection improve mpg if so was it worth it

19I use SVO, but the system can be used to clean dirty oil before making bio diesel if so desired.

22It don’t think it’s strange that the temp is the same i think thats just the temp the people claim is neccessary because that is the realistic temp that can be obtained using the coolant.
