Biofuels are fuels that are derived from biological materials, mainly through the decomposition of biological materials. They are renewable fuels derived from biological material, such as biogas, bio-diesel and methane. biofuel can exist as solids, liquids and gases.

Biofuels are can be produced directly from plants or indirectly from industrial waste, household and or agricultural. ways in which biofuels can be generated include, but is not limited to: Burning of dry organic waste material such as regular household waste, industrial and agricultural waste materials generated, the fermentation of agricultural waste such as wet dung animal in the absence of oxygen, the fermentation of sugar / starch / carbohydrate crops to produce ethanol, etc.

Biofuels are further classified into four main groups. These groups include:

The first generation, consisting mainly of biofuels derived from vegetable fats / oils, animal fats / oils, starch, sugar, etc. Examples of first generation bio-fuels include biogas, biodiesel and vegetable oil

.

The second generation :. based on bio-fuels derived from biomass waste

The third generation. made of bio-fuels that are derived algae

The fourth group of generation biofuels are produced a process that uses microorganisms specially-raised/reared to work on CO2 for fuel.

Bio fuels that use is definitely a great way to reduce over dependence on fossil fuels that are priced very unpredictable and unusual. Even with the dangers of non-renewable energy put on our environment I see no reason why we should still want to continue using these fuels harmful.
