Not sure, considering algae world-wide is dying off due to increased UV. What I find crazy is that they’re still talking about growing corn for Ethanol, when plain old saw grass yields TEN TIMES THE YIELD per acre, and you can get two harvests per year… AND it takes hardly any irrigation, where corn is very water intensive. But then hemp (not the smoking kind) is the same way but it’s still illegal to grow, even though you can also make fabric, paper, and dimensional lumber from the fiber. Think of the trees they could save and the wood fiber industry we could put back to work except for their silly political laws!
